Customers should be able to manage their saved shipping addresses from their account page, removing any old ones they no longer want to use. Checkout should also automatically remove addresses that are invalid or missing required details, so customers won't get stuck trying to complete an order with an address that can't be used.

Please add the ability to configure package dimensions based on the total weight of an order. Currently, WebSell submits one fixed set of dimensions for every carrier rate request, regardless of whether the order is small, heavy or bulky. One default box cannot accurately represent the wide range of packages used by most retailers.

The proposed feature would allow retailers to create configurable weight ranges and assign a package length, width and height to each range. For example, orders up to 3 lb could use 8 × 6 × 4 dimensions, orders from 3 to 7 lb could use 10 × 8 × 6, and larger orders could use progressively larger dimensions. WebSell would select the appropriate dimensions based on the order’s total quoted weight before requesting the carrier rate.

This would improve UPS and other carrier-calculated rates because dimensional weight can substantially affect the quote. Using one box size for every order may overquote smaller orders and contribute to abandoned carts, while setting the default too small can underquote larger orders.

As an extension, shipping rules could include a “Set package dimensions” action. This would allow dimensions to be changed for lightweight but bulky products by using product attributes, categories or other conditions already supported by the rules engine.

This would provide a practical improvement in shipping accuracy without requiring retailers to configure detailed product-level cartonization.

There are very few websites that are not offering an OTP feature to their customers. I am not concerned with an additional layer of protection but more with the ease of logging in without a password or allowing the option to login in either way. This would eliminate customers having to remember and reset passwords and at least for me the unnecessary amount of phone calls it creates when they don't check their spam or if a family member used their account and changed the email and they don't receive the link to reset. All this can be eliminated with the use of an OTP and something that I feel every Websell customer could find value in.

Currently, stores can search for certain products and see which lists/registries it appears, with the option to filter results to only registries or lists. it would be nice to have a CSV export option covering registries and lists, structured so that each row represents a per-product entry, making it easy to audit or reconcile product placement across multiple registries.

Current System Issues

Problem A: Poor Organization/Sorting

- Products are displayed in the retailer email in arbitrary order (based on Redis key iteration)
- No alphabetical sorting by product name
- No chronological sorting by when notifications were requested
- Makes it difficult for retailers to track new vs. old requests or spot patterns

Problem B: Poor Discontinued Product Handling

- When products are deleted/deactivated, they show as "Missing product with product ID X"
- Provides list of waiting customers but gives retailer no actionable options
- No mechanism to notify these customers that the product is discontinued
- Creates customer service burden as customers never get closure

Customer's Requested Solutions

A) Sort Email Alphabetically

- Sort products by product name in alphabetical order
- This will help retailers quickly identify patterns and new products
- Make the email more organized and professional

B) Discontinued Product Customer Notification

- For products that are discontinued/deactivated, provide retailers with an option to:
- Send automated "product discontinued" emails to all waiting customers
- Include alternative product suggestions if possible
- Remove these customers from the notification list after sending
- Provide a clear call-to-action button/link in the retailer email

I would like the ability to create a carousel that automatically populates and updates based on best-selling products, without requiring manual selection.

Currently, best sellers have to be identified manually and added to the carousel one by one. This is time-consuming and requires ongoing maintenance as sales trends change.

The ideal solution would allow the carousel to dynamically pull products based on criteria such as:

Top-selling items over a selected time period (e.g., last 7, 30, or 90 days)
Quantity sold or revenue generated
Optional filters (category, brand, in-stock only, etc.)

The carousel should automatically refresh at a set interval or in real time so it always reflects current best sellers.

This would ensure the storefront always highlights high-performing products, improve merchandising efficiency, and reduce manual work.

Hi,
Is there a way to enhance the existing surcharge feature to support per-item surcharges? I've been dealing with Paulina and she suggested I write to you.
We have multiple items that have additional mandatory manufacturer charges like freight, tariff, and/or surcharges that are added to an item which we need to pass onto the customer to pay. Currently Websell program cannot take those two items and add the two additional charges at checkout to one charge. The system can't process that the additional charges are not a shipping method or additions to the shipping charges. They are a non taxable added charges.
Can you help?
Thank you,
-Kat

The attached images show an example of our current shipping configuration. Other retailers may have more or fewer shipping methods, but this demonstrates how difficult the page becomes to manage as the configuration grows.

The main Fulfillment Methods list cannot be sorted, filtered, customized, or downloaded. Shipping methods with similar names appear in no clear order, making it difficult to compare them or confirm that each method is assigned to the correct destination group.

As shown in the second image, each shipping method can also contain many individual shipping rules. One of our methods currently has 20 rules covering order weight, item names, custom item attributes, ZIP codes, and state codes. These rules are also displayed in no clear order and cannot be sorted or filtered. Some descriptions are cut off, so the rule must be opened to see its complete condition and action. This makes it difficult to identify duplicate, outdated, overlapping, or conflicting rules.

Please add sorting and filtering options for both fulfillment methods and the individual rules contained within each method. It would also be very helpful to export the complete shipping configuration to CSV or Excel, make changes outside WSM, and import the updated file.

The export should include the fulfillment method, assigned country or group, rule name, condition source, operation, condition value, resulting action, adjustment amount or percentage, priority, and enabled status.

Even if importing cannot be added immediately, a downloadable CSV export would provide retailers with a valuable backup and make it much easier to review, organize, and optimize complicated shipping configurations.

Shipping Methods and Rules: Sorting, Filtering, and Import/Export

It would be great to see WebSell investigate support for agentic commerce and AI-powered shopping channels, including Stripe’s Agentic Commerce Suite and emerging standards that allow AI agents to discover merchant products and facilitate purchases.

As AI shopping develops, customers may increasingly use platforms such as ChatGPT and other AI assistants to search for products, compare availability and pricing, build carts, and potentially complete purchases directly through an AI agent.

For WebSell merchants, this could require the ability to expose structured product catalog data, current pricing and inventory, shipping/fulfillment options, and checkout capabilities in a format supported by AI commerce platforms.

Since WebSell already manages the ecommerce catalog, inventory integration, shipping logic, checkout, and Stripe integration for merchants, it would be valuable to understand how WebSell plans to support these new AI-driven commerce channels as they become more widely available.

Can WebSell investigate Stripe Agentic Commerce Suite as well as the broader standards and APIs developing around agentic commerce so WebSell merchants can participate in these channels without needing to build separate custom integrations?

International Credit Cards

Matt Snyder

We have a significant sub-set of products which are announced weeks/months before they become available, or are perennially in short supply, and therefore we have to manage an order queue via Layaways on our ePOS. Just taking orders without payment isn't productive, because the list would balloon with dreamers who cannot actually afford the item or will have changed their mind by the time one becomes available. Meanwhile customers in our shop can join the list by paying a realistic deposit, and anyone making a request by phone / email can be send a Stipe payment link before the Layaway is created.

Our work-around so far has been to create specific dummy products, which are linked under a matrix but hidden from search etc, where a customer can pay a pre-set amount that we settle through GWO, and in our POS this is dummy product is manually switched out for the full-price SKU so the payment becomes a deposit against a layaway. We then activate & deactivate these 'Deposit' SKUs on the website as the main SKU(s) availability changes. But this is time-consuming, open to human error, and to avoid matrix bloat we generally have one Deposit SKU per product colour rather than one for every possible product option (and ask customers to confirm in the order comment field at checkout which variant they are interested in, or must follow up with an email after the order comes through).

To automate & simplify this with a system taking our requirements into account (and with an eye to wider application for other clients too) my suggested functionality would include:

 1) Option to part-pay only appears on “Out of Stock” items *(could be a configuration choice, or switched on product-by-product via a PAM attribute, if that suited other collaborators)*
 2) Option to part-pay only appears if price is over a certain threshold *(with the value set via a config attribute when switching on the functionality)*
 3) Amount of part-payment would be a specific percentage of the item price *(set via a config attribute ?)*
 4) Amount of part-payment would be rounded to the nearest €10 *(or €1 / €5 / set via a config attribute if that suited other collaborators)* to make calculating the balance easier at a later date
 5) The part-payment option would appear as a separate “pay deposit” button after the normal “add to cart” button

These five criteria obviously throw up a couple of things which would need to be implemented to avoid confusion later:

 a) Throughout the checkout and when pulled through GWO into the relevant POS the product price(s) would remain at the full value, with a clear "Deposit to pay" / “remaining balance” value displayed on screen / in the confirmation email.

 b) The gap between full transaction value and the lower amount tendered through GWO would require conversion to a layaway (possibly by manual intervention, unless the transaction type can be set programmatically) with the order deposit value set to match the value tendered (either manually or automatically depending on what is possible programmatically in different integrated systems).

 c) If the product has a date-limited instant discount applied, the deposit value would need to be calculated based on the regular price, and the expiry date clearly displayed (in case the customer would be obliged to pay the higher price after the promotion ends)

Are any other clients interesting in collaborating on a customisation to make an automated deposit / part-payment system part of the WebSell platform?

When you overcapture a PaymentIntent, your customer won’t see any immediate updates on their credit card statement. After the captured amount settles, the initial pending authorisation gets updated with the final captured amount.

Enable customers to add multiple products to their cart quickly and efficiently, improving the buying experience for B2B users and high-volume purchasers.

This feature will introduce a range of bulk ordering capabilities. Customers will be able to build large orders in seconds without navigating multiple product pages.

By reducing friction in the ordering process, this functionality will increase conversion rates, support larger average order values, and better serve wholesalers, repeat buyers, and trade customers.

1. with our windward integration we have no way to remove a customer from the websell customer database. The only way i am able to remove access is to enter a fake email "toremoveemailaddress@remove.com" for example. Windward has no way to delete a customer that has transaction history.

2. i have no way to see if a customer is actually using my sites, it would be great to see "last login". As well as some reporting to show setup a password but never logged in etc.

as per Ticket #272852 - Angie suggested I drop these thoughts here!

Right now, it takes 5+ minutes to set up each SKU for add ons. (Multiple sizes for each SKU and need to put the add ons on each size, can’t just apply it to one SKU at a time…. Is there a quicker way? 😊)

Like this ski with 4 sizes, and we want to put 4 add ons on it. That’s 16+ multi click actions and we have to go back and forth in the web manager and resort the product list every single time. Like one item on the size 66, reload products in websell manger, resort, do second item on the size 66, reload resort, 3rd item on the 66 size, 4th on the 66 size…. then do it on the 67, then the 68 ... You get my point I think? This is taking FOREVER😊

So with that time in mind, I have our staff linking same brands with same brands.... But what happens when a customer puts ABC brand and XYZ brand in the cart? They should also get a package discount, but its hard to add every single item to every single page… plus, if I add every variation to one item… then the product page is a mile long.

-	A clearer path to the discount for the customer – they can see the 5% off when browsing the category pages on certain items we have linked, but then customer adds to cart and can’t figure out why it didn’t discount unless they put a specific product… and size!... that we linked .. so how do you link it back? and forth? like if all three items that are linked as add ons are added to the cart... then XYZ happens in the shopping cart. regardless of the order in which things are added to cart

-	A quicker way to put add ons on an entire SKU instead of a size at a time. (I am reminded of our previous conversations regarding export the parent, not the child??? photos!!!?? :))

-	Or maybe even better??? How to make add ons work across brands or categories. I think it could be easy logic, but not sure how to implement?…. If a customer adds ANY qualifying item to cart, ANY linked category is discounted by XYZ% ? or a customer adds ANY board , ski to cart… then ANY board bag or ski bag or sock is discounted XYZ%. Ideally I could control this function and set expiry dates. maybe even create promos for our customers such as “add any wakesurf board to your cart and get a wetsuit at 20% off” right now it would be a nightmare to set that up and then remove it once the sale event was done. Maybe such a thing exists already??? 😃 😃

We currently use Price B for our regular web specials and would like to keep this functionality unchanged. When a Web Price is entered for a product, it should temporarily override Price B and be displayed as the sale price, with the normal Price crossed out.

When the Web Price is removed, the product should automatically return to using Price B.

Example:

Normal Price: €100
Price B: €90 → displayed as the current web special price, with €100 crossed out.
Web Price: €80 → Web Price should temporarily override Price B and display €80 as the current price, with €100 crossed out.
Once the Web Price is removed, the product should automatically return to the Price B special price of €90.

This would allow us to run temporary promotions without changing our standard Price B values.

We would like to request an enhancement to the review request feature, whereby if a customer wishes to not receive review request emails, they can unsubscribe permanently. With the current functionality, they get a new review request with each order they place. This annoys some customers.

Currently when a customer orders online the billing info is imported into the billing area of windward. But the shipping address is imported into the comments of the invoice. We would like to see the shipping address imported into the correct field within windward so that we have less data to edit with each order we bring in
